Facultad de ComunicacionesEn estos primeros 100 días se suelen cometer errores que se transforman en conflictos mediáticos de diversa magnitud. Según la investigación realizada -tomando como referencia las noticias conflictivas publicadas por el Diario La Tercera durante la instalación de los gobiernos de Sebastián Piñera, Michelle Bachelet (en su primer período) y Ricardo Lagos-, los temas que causan mayores divergencias comunicacionales son los vinculados a: el 21 de mayo; la agenda de gobierno; las características, imagen y estilo del Presidente; los conflictos de interés; los cuestionamientos técnicos; los derechos humanos; los discursos presidenciales; las expectativas generadas; el nombramiento de autoridades; el alza de impuestos; las promesas incumplidas; la relación con el oficialismo y el desempeño e imagen del gabinete. Con estas temáticas ya conocidas, el objetivo práctico de esta investigación es que gobiernos venideros puedan trabajar en ellas, anticiparse y prevenirlas, con el fin de aprovechar el estrecho margen que posibilita la disminución de acontecimientos indeseados por medio del análisis de malas experiencias, y dar pie así al fortalecimiento de la imagen gubernamental y la transmisión de logros e informaciones relevantes, las cuales muchas veces pasan inadvertidas para la ciudadanía ante el giro de la agenda mediática hacia diversos conflictos, que eventualmente podrían no existir, evitarse o, al menos, aminorar sus efectos.

Facultad de ComunicacionesEn un escenario donde el acceso a internet y el uso de las redes sociales digitales es cada vez más masivo en Chile, “Uso de los medios sociales Facebook y Twitter en el Programa Educativo Masivo de la política pública Chile Crece Contigo (ChCC)” analizó a través de entrevistas y análisis de contenidos, cómo distintos actores vinculados a este sistema de protección integral a la infancia utilizan los medios de comunicación oficiales de la política, en particular, cómo emplean Twitter y Facebook. En concreto, indagó en cómo los profesionales que están a cargo del Programa Educativo Masivo (PEM) piensan e implementan la comunicación y en específico los medios sociales Facebook y Twitter; exploró cómo especialistas de la salud pública primaria de Chile Crece Contigo, de dos Centros de Salud Familiar (CESFAM) de comunas vulnerables de la ciudad de Santiago, emplean los medios masivos del PEM y, analizó el uso que los beneficiarios del mismo programa dan a los medios sociales Facebook y Twitter. Entre sus resultados encontró carencia de estrategias comunicacionales, medios de comunicación propios debilitados, falta de comunicación con los equipos ejecutores de la política y limitada presencia e interacción en redes sociales de parte del Programa Educativo Masivo en el periodo analizado. Por otro lado, se advirtió una alta participación de usuarios en el grupo de “Amigos de Chile Crece Contigo” en Facebook, un espacio apropiado por madres para preguntar, hacer peticiones, apoyarse, compartir, agradecer o denunciar, visibilizando además, parte del funcionamiento del Sistema. Entre sus resultados encontró carencia de estrategias comunicacionales, medios de comunicación propios debilitados, falta de comunicación con los equipos ejecutores de la política y limitada presencia e interacción en redes sociales de parte del Programa Educativo Masivo en el periodo analizado...
