Abstract
This article seeks to explore the potential of presentism as a theological problem for Christian hope. Within the context of late modern societies, characterized by social acceleration, the immediacy of life, and temporal asynchrony, a hypothesis is raised regarding the problems generated by presentism in the understanding and mode of God’s revelation throughout history, particularly concerning the waiting for the promised future in eschatological fulfillment. To this end, from a theological-speculative approach, the possibility of rediscovering various modulations of duration and the advent of the future is studied as starting points for understanding Christian hope as a guarantor of meaning and vitality amid late modern societies
