Abstract
Within feminist economics, the figure of the cooperative has taken on great importance due to the alternative it proposes to traditional private production. The cooperative, which often appears spontaneously in little-studied contexts, such as the countryside and Latin American indigenous communities, presents real and concrete cases of joint work and resistance in environments that are often hostile to the individuals that make them up. This is why this article sought, based on the experience of cooperatives in three Latin American countries, to collect, through semistructured interviews, the constitution of alternatives to traditional private production from a feminist economics perspective.
